Youth & Revolt

To promote Miguel Arteta’s film adaption Youth in Revolt (in theaters now)—from the series of cult-fave books by C.D. Payne— MTV paired the naturally humorous Michael Cera with the unnaturally tan cast of MTV’s “Jersey Shore.” In these funny trailers, the The Garden State’s Finest teach Cera the ways of the Shore: drink fruity mixed drinks, gel your hair so that it stands on end, wear your best Ed Hardy, and pound the floor with your fist when “hear dat beat drop.” To bring out the best Jersey accents, MTV enlisted Ear Goo for sound design and mix.
